UK Launch of PS Vita (Including a Look Inside the Console)

Today saw the release of the Sony PlayStation Vita, the electronic giant’s new handheld gaming machine, in the UK and there have been midnight store openings for fans to get hold of their machines.

This is Sony's second handheld gaming device and the main features of the new device include:

• 3G connectivity
• Front and rear cameras
• Six axis motion control
• Touchscreen and rear touchpad
• GPS
• Cross play with the PlayStation3
• Dual Analogue Control Sticks

Two of the big games at launch are Uncharted: Golden Abyss and WipEout 2048 which show off all these new features and the graphical power of the PS Vita. Since the handheld has been out since last year in Japan and it hasn’t taken long for someone to be intrigued by what the electronic manufacture company has crammed into the portable device.
